How to enter.
The tt100 programme starts with a call for entries and culminates in an awards ceremony held towards the end of the year. In between, there are a number of key steps for participating companies and the adjudicators. Here's an overview of the process.
Entries open in May 2018.
Stage 1.
Entries open in May, 2018. All entrants should be registered before August 31st, 2018. We take the evaluation of your your work seriously and it's essential to provide your submission completely and on time.
Stage 2.
A detailed assessment is then conducted. If accepted, companies are notified and required to make a pledge in the form of a tax-deductible donation towards the establishment of the tt100 research fund. See below.
Stage 3.
On proof of payment, entrants are given a link to the tt100 questionnaire. This is an invaluable exercise as it takes you through the journey of how you manage innovation, technology, people and systems.
Stage 4.
Stage 5. |
Stage 6!
When the questionnaire has been completed, each successful entrant presents a submission to a panel of adjudicators. This usually happens during the second half of the year and is either a face-to-face session or, if this is not practical, conducted via video conference.
The panel of adjudicators select qualifying, finalist and winning organisations, which are announced at the awards function presided over by the Minister of Science and Technology.
The award ceremony will be held at the Johannesburg Country Club. Traditionally, leaders from all sectors and industries attend. See our gallery for past winners and speakers.
Entrant fees. A tax deductible donation.
